Hello bloggers! How are you?
I have to tell you about my latest trip that I have done in Spain.
I went to Puebla de Sanabria that is located in Zamora this Christmas Holidays with my dad César, my mom Aurora, my aunt Esperanza, and my sister Paula. The day was fantastic because the weather was really good, the sky didn’t have any clouds, it  was completely blue and the sun was shining a lot. My family doesn’t have a house in Zamora, but we have in a village of León called Valencia de don Juan that is one hour and a half away from Puebla de Sanabria, so we  woke up at 10 a.m. we had breakfast at my  home, we had a shower, and when we were ready, we went into my father’s car to go to Puebla de Sanabria. We started off by stopping the car in a parking to see the lake. The lake was really fantastic, the water was really clean and the mountains were reflected in the water. The lake was so impressive that we remained there taking photos at least one hour. Then we entered again in my father’s car and he rode to see Ribadelago’s dam. When we were in the car we saw three cows in the road. My daddy parked the car in a large green waste ground just to see the dam, but the dam was destroyed so we couldn’t see it. There were some cows and some bulls so we had to take care of what we were doing just not to be attacked by them

Here you have some photos of the Lake: :)

We then went inside the car and my father drove us to Puebla de Sanabria to have a delicious lunch in a restaurant called Monteluno. There we ate five delicious starters: some prawns, Iberian ham,  some anchovies,  two octopus, and some mussels and a main course that was a piglet. The dessert was lemon custard and a coffe with milk . After having a fabulous lunch, we walked in the village until we were in front of a church that was done in the baroque. We continued walking until we were just in a lookout point in Puebla de Sanabria, where we could see the large river Tera. One of our last stop was in Sanabria's Palace where we paid just 2€ to enter inside it and visit it. The palace was awesome. It was formed by three floors  and the third floor gave us an awesome view of the city and of the river Tera. Then we went into the second floor where my sister Paula and me  dress up as  pilgrims.  In the first floor we started dressing up as a soldier because there were all the things that a soldier wear, there was a shield, a spear, an axe, a sword, a helmet, and  a breastplate. In the middle of the palace there was a high tower made of brown rocks. When we entered in the tower, we went upstairs and outside and we could observe another view, we could take incredible photos and we could beat up a large bell. When we were downstairs, we entered into a library just to see an exhibition about soldiers that some people were doing.  Our final stop was in a shop called Vaqueros where we bought pastes that were called Aceitadas and they are very typical of Zamora, we bought 3 boxes of Aceitadas and one box of varied pastes. All of us entered in the car about 7 p.m. and my father drove us until we went in the village Valencia de Don Juan in León.  There we went to have dinner in a restaurant called Reino de León where we ate tortilla with onions and for dessert an orange. We arrived home about 11 p.m.  We were very tired, so I turned on the television and I started to watch a film until 1 a.m. that I went to bed.

Here I post you some photos of Puebla de Sanabria.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience where I learnt a lot of history and culture. I’d definitely recommend Puebla de Sanabria to anyone. Has anyone been to Puebla de Sanabria before? Please tell me in a comment. I’d love to hear about it! Got to go now. Kisses from Spain!
